| xiLinux Systems Inc. was founded in 2000 by two partners, Alex Kaydanov and Philip Post with one goal: to create a linux consulting company which will specialize in computer networking, computer consulting services, computer engineering, internet security and computer hardware . It will provide Linux services nationwide and to create linux workstations and linux servers that were as reliable as anything from IBM, SGI, DELL and HP.
But, instead of running mainframe level hardware with proprietary Unix, they ran on x86 architecture with a new open source operating system - Linux.
We have been providing Linux solutions - linux computer systems (server and workstation) as well as linux configuration services since the day we opened for business. The company began operations in Thornton, CO, in a service center rented from Micro Express International Inc., the local retail computer store. And in the past three years, we've grown to become one of the few dedicated Linux consulting companies in Colorado. Our product offerings have expanded dramatically to include a wide variety of products- linux web servers, Linux mail servers, Linux hosting servers, Linux Storage Servers and Linux workstations line.
